Project title:
Circular decommissioning strategies for current and future FPSO
Project abstract:
This project aims to answer two research questions: RQ1—How do circular business models (CBMs) currently create, capture, and share value through business ecosystems? and RQ2—How do business ecosystem dynamics influence the implementation and value delivery of CBMs? This project serves as the foundation for developing a conceptual model of a circular economy business ecosystem, identifying the actors, their roles, and their interdependencies within the ecosystem. The model addresses multi-stakeholder interactions, feedback loops, and the emergence of complex behaviors among agents. To this end, a systems dynamics approach and gamification strategies will be employed to analyze decommissioning in the oil and gas sector.
